Brooke ... Newborn ... February 2013

It was a baby explosion in late November/early December! 

I can't believe it's been nearly three years since I photographed Brooke's parent's wedding, but it has.  Where has the time gone? 

Anyhow, we had such fun with little Brooke.  We played dress up, set up all kinds of fun *stations*.  Her big sister was such a help in the process.  She knows how to keep her happy, no doubt. 

Chase ... Newborn ... February 2013

Two newborn sessions in one week.  Such cuteness to be surrounded by.  This was the first time I got to meet Chase.  I photographed his parent's wedding in November of 2011.  I can't believe it's been that long ago. 

Anyhow, they brought this little cutie to me and I was able to try out my new tissue backdrop, that photographed and worked out awesomely I might add.  Again, another stellar baby model.  I always feel so bad, moving and changing and undressing and rearranging these little ones.  However, with results like these, it's no wonder I want to keep doing it!

Liliana ... Newborn ... February 2013

I walked into Liliana's home and I was instantly on sensory overload!  I don't think I have ever seen so many adorable items.  Pink and red and white and zebra and camo as far as the eye could see. 

I enjoyed this session so much.  Such a sweet little girl Liliana is.  Spent two hours photographing her and she was one of the best little models anyone could ask for. 

Photo Safari!!

As part of Jasmine Star's ReSTARt we were charged with going on a photo safari ... Essentially going around taking photos of things we like. It's to help us hone our photography skills and make conscious decisions about what we want to shoot. It's also to help define our style. :D

This is a compilation of just some of the pictures I've taken around my home, my folk's home, and my office over the last couple weeks.  I think it's my new addiction.  :)

I'm feeling crafty ...

My best friend is having a baby in April.  I'm terribly excited and can't wait to meet the little fella.

Anyhow, due to my addiction to Pinterest, I felt the need to be a bit crafty.  While thinking what I should do/use for a card box, I ran across this blog ... My Scrapbook Life ... through a google search, which I then added to one of my boards on Pinterest so I didn't forget about it.  Thankfully, my sister-in-law bought one of these Wilton *Your Reception* Gift Card Boxes for her reception and never used it.  She gave it to me last week, and I set to work.
